New Hunter Biden memoir glosses over scandal of child he fathered with Arkansas woman

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has been besieged by multiple scandals of his own making over the past few years, some of which he opened up about, in detail, in a new memoir set to be released soon.

One of those scandals briefly touched upon is his fathering of a child with a former exotic dancer now living in Arkansas, though he seemed to imply that he still disputes the fact that he is the father, despite a DNA test and court order denoting him as such, the Washington Examiner reported.

DNA test says Hunter is the father

At one point in the book, Hunter Biden made a reference to drug-fueled “rampages” he had with women in the past, which he described as being “hardly the dating type.”

One of those women, apparently, was Lunden Alexis Roberts, who at one point was an exotic dancer in Washington D.C. prior to returning home to Arkansas after being impregnated by Hunter.

However, he denied that the child was his, prompting a lawsuit that ultimately resulted in a DNA test proving his paternity and a court ordering him to be formally named as the father, according to a Jan. 2020 report from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, and to pay child support.

“No recollection” of fathering child in Arkansas

In his memoir “Beautiful Things,” Hunter Biden wrote, “I’m not proud of it. It’s why I would later challenge in court the woman from Arkansas who had a baby in 2018 and claimed the child was mine — I had no recollection of our encounter.”

The Examiner noted that Biden also discussed at length his recurring episodes of alcohol and drug abuse and the turmoil his addictions and personal issues caused in terms of his relationships, particularly with his first wife, Kathleen Buhle, as well as his untoward and semi-secretive romance with Hallie Olivere, the widow of his deceased brother, Beau Biden.

According to his book, however, he has made progress in battling his addictions and personal issues thanks to his current wife, Melissa Cohen, with whom he has a young child.

What else did he fail to adequately discuss?

ABC News, in a surprisingly critical review of Biden’s book, noted that he had largely glossed over and barely mentioned his child in Arkansas.

Other scandals of Biden’s that were either downplayed or outright ignored included his business dealings in China, the federal investigation into his tax affairs, being kicked out of the U.S. Navy Reserve for failing a drug test, his recovered laptop computer from a Delaware repair shop, the incriminating evidence of wrongdoing contained on that laptop, and his former business partners who have spoken out against him, such as Tony Bobulinski.

What Hunter Biden did share ample details about were his drug and alcohol problems, his troubled relationships with family and women, and his deep dislike for former President Donald Trump.

Perhaps if the media has any remaining sense of journalistic integrity, they will investigate the scandals Biden gave short-shrift to, such as the child he fathered that lives with its mother in Arkansas.
