Spokesperson denies rumors that Pelosi is planning to settle in $25M Florida home after retirement

After a long and prosperous career in government, 81-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is widely expected to step down in the near future.

Rumors of Pelosi’s retirement have been fueled by reports claiming the San Francisco liberal is looking to settle down in MAGA country at a $25 million oceanfront home in Florida.

Pelosi’s oceanfront escape

The luxurious estate has a private beach, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a colonnaded courtyard, the Daily Mail reports, and is located in the ultra-rich community of Jupiter Island, in Martin County, which Trump carried by 25 points in 2020.

According to the Washington Examiner, Pelosi’s new neighbors would include Tiger Woods and Celine Dion, and she would be just 25 miles from Donald Trump’s personal Xanadu at Mar-a-Lago.

The rumors have many speculating that Pelosi is looking to escape the conditions she and her Democratic allies helped create in the former paradise of California, with Big League Politics aptly describing California’s current state as a “dumpster fire” of crime and dysfunction.

A Daily Mail headline noted California’s “mass looting” problem, encouraged by radical prosecutors, while Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) observed that Florida, unlike California, is a “free” state with significantly lower property taxes — things Pelosi wants to deny to the average American.

“She was actually on my plane. She wants to retire in Florida to enjoy low taxes, mask free hair salons, and Republican freedom policies, while literally destroying all these good things for the American people,” Rep. Greene tweeted.

American oligarch makes out like a bandit

But Pelosi spokesperson Drew Hammill was quick to dismiss the rumors. “This is completely false,” Hammill said, according to the Washington Examiner. “There’s no such pending sale nor is the family looking or interested.”

Zillow said that a sale on the house is “pending,” but the real estate agent said that Pelosi is not the buyer, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

It would certainly be a fitting place for the aging queen of limousine liberals, widely known for her taste for the finer things, to spend her autumn years.

Pelosi is one of the wealthiest members of Congress and owns several high-end properties, including a mansion in California’s wine country, with her venture capitalist husband Paul, the Daily Mail reports.

Wherever Pelosi decides to set herself up, there can be little doubt that she will live comfortably as a certified member of America’s oligarchy, even as life for the average American gets more expensive, chaotic, and unsafe thanks to the pro-crime, open border, radical policies that Pelosi supports.
