Fauci tries to save face after claiming it’s ‘too soon to tell’ if Americans can celebrate Christmas with their families

Dr. Anthony Fauci is once again presuming to interfere with the “most wonderful time of the year.” With the holidays approaching, the petty tyrant told CBS on Sunday that it’s “too soon to tell” if Americans should celebrate Christmas with their families, Fox News reported.

It’s just the latest wearisome, arrogant edict from Fauci, who has been jostling the country around for going on two years with a series of increasingly irrational, arbitrary orders and constantly changing goalposts. Some may recall that Fauci, last December, said it was “highly likely that with vaccines being distributed, that we will be back to normal by next Christmas,” as Fox noted.

Fauci’s arrogance

But as the holidays inch closer this year, Fauci is once again shifting his arbitrary timeline on when Americans can have their normal lives back.

“We can gather for Christmas, or it’s just too soon to tell?” CBS’s Margaret Brennan asked Fauci on Sunday’s Face the Nation.

“It is just too soon to tell,” he said in response, according to Fox. “We have to concentrate on continuing to get those numbers down and not try to jump ahead by weeks or months and say what we’re going to do at a particular time.”

Speaking Monday with CNN, the doctor attempted to clarify his remarks. But to those who’ve long seen him as little more than a deranged cult leader set on controlling Americans’ every move in the wake of the pandemic, the damage was already done.

“The best way to assure that we’ll be in good shape as we get into the winter would be to get more and more people vaccinated,” Fauci said Monday, according to The Hill. He added:

That was misinterpreted as my saying we can’t spend Christmas with our families, which was absolutely not the case. I will be spending Christmas with my family, I encourage people, particularly the vaccinated people who are protected, to have a good, normal Christmas with your family.

Clinging to power

While countless Americans have grown weary of Fauci’s totalitarian nonsense, there is no sign of him facing accountability anytime soon, and the notion that he will give up his newfound position of power and prestige is laughable. The longer he stays in power, the more imperious Fauci becomes.

When asked by radio host Hugh Hewitt if he would ever step down after all the damage he has done to public trust, he snapped: “Absolutely, unequivocally, no.” The man has become a genuine caricature of himself, dismissing those who question his wisdom as “attacking science.”

But one can hardly blame Fauci for thinking so highly of himself. He commands a massive following that holds him in complete reverence.

Perhaps Fauci, whose Christmas Eve birthday was declared “Fauci Day” by the Democratic Party last year, thinks Christmas is obsolete now. For Fauci and his most devoted followers, there is only room for one faith: faith in government and the “experts” like Fauci.

It’s long past time America stopped listening to this clown. While some deeply demoralized and fearful Americans will continue to hang on his every word, sane Americans will reject Fauci as the false prophet he is and celebrate Christmas like they do every year.
