Fauci claims his ‘too soon to tell’ Christmas remark was ‘misinterpreted’

Anthony Fauci whined that his comments were taken out of context after he called on Americans to cancel Christmas for the second year in a row.

Fauci told CNN Monday his outrageous remark that it was “too soon to tell” if Americans can celebrate the holidays with their families was somehow “misinterpreted,” The Hill reports.

Fauci whines

Without explaining what he meant, Fauci arbitrarily blamed “disinformation” for giving people the impression he was against Christmas gatherings. “That was misinterpreted as my saying we can’t spend Christmas with our families, which was absolutely not the case,” he said.

But that’s not what he said a day before when, according to Breitbart, he told CBS, “You know, Margaret, it is just too soon to tell” if people should celebrate Christmas.

Fauci’s comments struck many as just the latest capricious edict from a petty tyrant who has become an inescapable buzzing in the ears since rising to prominence 18 months ago and becoming a revered cult figure among Democrats.

Last Christmas, Fauci’s birthday on Christmas Eve was declared “Fauci Day” by Democrats, and he is the subject of a new, worshipful documentary from Disney that portrays him as a blameless and benevolent servant of the public.

That image is at odds with how countless Americans have come to view Fauci after innumerable flip-flops, shifting targets, and plain hypocrisy.

“The vaccinated people”

The openly political, slippery bureaucrat failed to call out massive Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in the summer of 2020 and elite gatherings such as Barack Obama’s birthday party, reserving his scorn for motorcyclists in Trump country and ordinary Americans looking forward to Christmastime with loved ones.

In a separate interview Sunday morning, The Hill noted, Fauci said that illegal immigrants are “absolutely not” driving COVID-19 infections even as he endorses vaccine mandates for middle and high school students at trivial risk from COVID-19 and requiring the COVID-19 injection to work and fly on airplanes.

But Fauci is in no hurry to mend the damage he has done to America and the public’s trust. Far from it, he has only grown more unreasonable and authoritarian as he doubles down on his insane, totalitarian vision of a medically segregated society controlled by “experts” like himself.

As he backtracked on Christmas gatherings, Fauci seemed to imply that a “good, normal” Christmastime is a privilege for vaccinated people only.

“I will be spending Christmas with my family, I encourage people, particularly the vaccinated people who are protected, to have a good, normal Christmas with your family.”
