Just as former President Donald Trump has warned Americans, significantly more Haitian migrants are expected to try to make it to the U.S.-Mexico border in the final months of 2021.
Reports indicate that Central American leaders are warning that the number of Haitians that may make the trek to the U.S.-Mexico border can be well over 100,000.
This comes after the most recent surge that saw some 15,000 Haitians illegally cross the southern border and camp out under the International Del Rio bridge in Texas. This incident may pale in comparison to what’s now coming.

Panama Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes, according to Newsmax, is warning that as many as 60,000 more Haitians may try to make it to the U.S.-Mexico border this year. We have already seen some 85,000 make the journey since last January.
Mouynes’s warning came after her recent meetings with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. There, she implored Mayorkas to enforce a coordinated plan to keep the situation under control.
Mouynes also expressed dismay that her previous warnings were not followed. It is unclear whether Mayorakas and the Biden administration will do so this time, although reports indicate that administration aides have been sent down to Haiti.
According to a report from Breitbart, Mouynes’s prediction only has to do with the Haitians currently in Panama. The outlet managed to obtain a report from Mexico’s National Immigration Institute (INM), which warns that altogether perhaps 125,000 or more Haitians may try to gain entry to America by the end of 2021.
Breitbart reports: “Officials warn more than 85,000 Haitian migrants are currently in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panamá, and Guatemala and most have the expectation of reaching the U.S.-Mexico Border.”
The group is expected to come together in Mexico by December.

Thus far, we have been focusing almost exclusively on Haitian migrants. But, according to a recent report from NBC, this group is only a small part of a much larger picture.
That report suggests that perhaps as many as 400,000 migrants may try to gain entry to America in the month of October alone. The cause, at least in part, appears to be a recent court ruling that stops the Biden administration from using Title 42 to expel asylum seekers. If this does come to pass, October could see as many illegal immigrants at the southern border as July and August combined, which were both record months.
The 2021 Fiscal Year just ended, and reports already are indicating that it saw the most apprehensions at the southern border since such a statistic first started being kept, about a century ago. It is already looking, though, as if Fiscal Year 2022 might just blow 2021 out of the water.
