Hunter Biden rumors confirmed – Joe in trouble as China scandal erupts

Due to his long history of engaging in substance abuse, making sexually explicit videos, and conducting questionable business dealings,  Hunter Biden has long been a source of awkward questions for his father’s administration.

As Breitbart recently noted, those questions were being asked again this week after it emerged that the younger Biden continues to maintain substantial investments in China.

The website recalled that White House press secretary Jen Psaki addressed the issue of Biden’s Chinese holdings when she was asked about it in February.

“He has been working to unwind his investment, but I would certainly point you — he’s a private citizen,” she said. “I would point you to him or his lawyers on the outside on any update.”

According to the Washington Examiner, Psaki made the same claim after being asked again about the president’s son during a July briefing.

Biden still holds almost half a million dollars in stock

However, the paper reported on Monday that Chinese business records show Biden still has a 10 percent equity state in Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company (BHR).

The Examiner recalled how Biden had pledged to resign from the firms board of directors in late 2019, a promise did not make good on until April of 2020. Yet despite his resignation, Biden apparently still has some $464,000 with of stock in the company.

BHR is said by the Examiner to have have “made extensive investments in multiple controversial Chinese companies,” including one linked to “repression and high-technology surveillance in Xinjiang” province.

BHR has also been tied to China General Nuclear Power Group, a company that was accused by the Justice Department in 2016 of attempting to steal American nuclear technology.

Candidate Joe Biden promised that his family members would not have foreign business ties

That Examiner stated that when it sought comment from the White House regarding Biden ongoing involvement in China, deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said he could only “refer you to Jen’s comments and Hunter Biden’s representatives.”

These developments seem a far cry from what then candidate Joe Biden promised while he was seeking his party’s presidential nomination.

“No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country. Period. Period. End of story,” the Des Moines Register quoted him as saying after a 2019 event in Iowa.
