Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the world continues to become a more dangerous place. And, this is not just because Biden just gave a country and billions of dollars worth of U.S. weaponry to the Taliban.
Reports indicate that, with Biden in office, two of America’s biggest enemies – Iran and North Korea – have resumed their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Let’s start with Iran
According to Breitbart, last week, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz warned the world that “Iran is only two months away from acquiring the materials necessary for a nuclear weapon.”
“All of Iran’s acts of aggression thus far have been conducted without nuclear capabilities,” Gantz noted. “Imagine what will happen if Iran achieves nuclear capabilities?”
Gantz went on to call upon the international community to come up with “a viable ‘Plan B'” to put a stop to Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons. And, Gantz suggested that if the International community doesn’t, then he cannot “rule out the possibility that Israel will have to take action in the future in order to prevent a nuclear Iran.”
Newsmax, over the weekend, reported that Israel and the United States are now pursuing a “joint strategy” to put a stop to Iran’s nuclear program. This was announced after Biden met last week with Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
What the joint strategy entails, though, is not exactly clear. Biden said that, for now, he is “putting diplomacy first and seeing where that takes us.”
This, of course, all comes after attempts to return the United States and Iran to former President Barack Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal failed.
Restarting the reactor
Separately, Breitbart reports that North Korea has restarted its nuclear reactor. The reactor was inactive throughout the second half of former President Donald Trump’s presidency, as Trump was negotiating with North Korea to reach a deal regarding its nuclear activity.
This latest information comes from a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency. That report, in part, reads, “Since early July, there have been indications, including the discharge of cooling water, consistent with the operation of the reactor.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed the Biden administration’s approach to North Korea back in April. She said:
Our policy will not focus on achieving a grand bargain, nor will it rely on strategic patience. Our policy calls for a calibrated, practical approach that is open to and will explore diplomacy with the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea].
Do you need any more evidence that Biden’s approach to foreign policy doesn’t work? Every day, as these reports show, our enemies are becoming more and more emboldened – Iran, North Korea, the Taliban have all made big gains with Biden in office. The question is what kind of gains are being made by Russia or China – Time, unfortunately, will tell.
