Former White House physician says Biden’s ‘cognitive decline is on full display’ following Afghanistan debacle

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), the former White House doctor for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, is once again calling for President Joe Biden to be removed from office, citing what he calls “cognitive decline” on Biden’s part that Jackson says is “on full display” as the U.S. continues its withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

“That was embarrassing. There is something so obviously wrong with Biden’s cognitive fitness it was hard to watch,” Jackson tweeted Thursday following Biden’s speech to the American people about terrorist attacks that killed 13 U.S. military members as they were working to evacuate people in Kabul.

“He should NOT remain President for another SECOND,” Jackson added of Biden, according to The Daily Wire. “We deserve better — MUCH better.”

As The Daily Wire reported, the doctor-turned-congressman followed up with a tweet the next day expressing a similar sentiment. “Biden’s speech yesterday was bizarre,” Jackson said. “His cognitive decline is on full display, and the results have been disastrous. Our nation can’t take this ANY longer.”

Jackson: I was right about Biden

Jackson doubled down on his remarks during a Friday interview with Fox News, telling host Jesse Watters that he has been saying for the last 18 months that Biden is not fit to be president.

“And of course, I hoped that was wrong, but I’m not,” Jackson said, according to Breitbart. “And we’re seeing it played out on the international stage right now. He’s destroying the reputation of this country. He’s getting Americans killed. There’s…American blood being shed in Afghanistan again, for the first time in many, many, many months. And it’s not going to be the last, you’re right.”

The Texas Republican went on to predict that ISIS-K and the Taliban would soon bring back the orange jumpsuits they used to make captives wear before they beheaded them.

“The orange jumpsuits are about to come back,” Jackson told Fox, as Breitbart reported. “That’s the horrific stuff that we have to look forward to. The Taliban may capture some of these people, because we’re going to have thousands, at least hundreds of Americans that are gonna be stranded over there.”

“It’s just going to keep getting worse”

Jackson also said Friday that the Taliban, which quickly took control of Kabul as the U.S. pulled out of the region, might try to hold some American citizens still stranded in Afghanistan for ransom, but would ultimately kill them.

“ISIS is going to take them and they’re going to put them in these orange jumpsuits, and they’re going to behead them on videos that are going to get sent all over the world,” he said, according to Breitbart. “That’s what we have to look forward to.”

According to The Daily Wire, Jackson told Watters that Biden “has destroyed our reputation with our allies. And just like you said,” the doctor added, “he has sent the wrong message to our adversaries. We are tested every single day in this Biden administration…by our adversaries, and every day, Joe Biden fails that test, and it’s just going to keep getting worse and worse.”

You don’t have to be a prophet to predict that one.
