Recently recovered emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop strongly indicate that his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, attended a 2015 dinner with Hunter and several of his foreign business associates, contradicting Biden’s repeated denials that he had no knowledge or involvement in his son’s business dealings.
In response to that revelation, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows suggested there is “more to come” regarding Hunter Biden and his alleged scandalous dealings with foreign nationals that increasingly appear to have involved his father, the Washington Examiner reported.
Meadows, a Republican congressman from North Carolina prior to joining former President Donald Trump’s White House, was referencing emails from Hunter’s laptop that appeared to show that his father had been in attendance at a meeting with Hunter’s associates from Kazahkstan, Russia, and Ukraine, among others.
The Biden family’s “influence-peddling”
Meadows discussed the recently discovered emails in an interview with Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield on Wednesday.
“Well, I can tell you there is more to come with Hunter Biden as we start to see it,” Meadows said. “It’s amazing how Joe Biden and Hunter Biden actually had a quid pro quo, and to accuse President Trump of using his influence to enrich his family was just not accurate.”
“And now what we’re seeing is perhaps the real influence-peddling that took place was by then-Vice President Joe Biden,” he added.

Meadows’ remarks were in reference to a report from the New York Post on Wednesday that detailed information gleaned from several emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop regarding a April 2015 dinner meeting he had arranged.
According to a guest list sent to his business partner Devon Archer three weeks prior, among the invited guests were three associates from Kazakhstan — including the chairman of that nation’s largest bank — Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina and her husband, the then-mayor of Moscow Yury Luzkhov, as well as top Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi, the energy company for which Hunter held a lucrative board position.
Multiple emails referenced Joe Biden and thanked Hunter for the opportunity to meet with the then-vice president, seemingly confirming the elder Biden’s attendance at the dinner.
In one email sent by Hunter, he seemed to indicate that his position on the board of the United Nations’ World Food Program USA was a cover story for the meeting. He wrote, “Ok — the reason for the dinner is ostensibly to discuss food security,” and added, “Dad will be there but keep that between us for now. Thanks.”
Evidence suggests Biden lied
The various emails reported on by the Post all seem to strongly indicate that Biden was not only present at that dinner meeting with his son and several of his foreign business associates but also personally met and spoke with those associates.
That is pretty damning in light of Biden’s prior denials that he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings. Time will tell if Meadows is correct in his prediction that there is “more to come” in exposing the Biden family’s dishonesty and scandalous activities.
