Biden immigration plan: Bring deported illegals back to America to apply for citizenship

President Joe Biden’s radical immigration plan proves that “open borders” is more than just a conservative talking point. This is the real deal.

At a time when Americans are suffering through an economic crisis and a pandemic, Biden would invite deported illegal immigrants back to the United States to apply for citizenship, the Washington Examiner reported.

Biden’s immigration “nihilism”

Former Trump administration adviser Stephen Miller, who played a key role in shaping former President Donald Trump’s no-nonsense approach to illegal immigration, is speaking out against Biden’s “nihilist” and “demoralizing” open borders agenda. “It’s extraordinarily radical,” Miller told the Examiner. “You can’t even call it left-wing because it’s actually nihilist.”

Many have warned that Biden’s plan will encourage illegal immigration, and it’s not hard to see why. Biden would change how illegals are defined in the law from “alien” to “noncitizen,” a softening of language reflected in policies that seem designed to facilitate mass migration, both legal and illegal.

The ironically named U.S. Citizenship Act would make 11 million illegal immigrants eligible for citizenship within eight years. So-called “Dreamers,” illegal migrants protected from deportation who came to the country as children, would be eligible for green cards right away, along with farm workers and Temporary Protected Status recipients, putting them on a fast-track to citizenship in three years.

America last

Biden remarkably takes it even further than just a blanket amnesty for those living in the country illegally. He is also inviting those previously deported under the Trump administration back to America to apply for citizenship, provided they have not been convicted of a felony or three misdemeanors.

Also included are increases on per-country visa caps, billions of dollars in foreign aid to fight crime and poverty in Central America, and funding for immigration judges.

While generous to illegal immigrants and their native countries, the bill offers nothing to secure American citizens and their border, beyond perfunctory and ineffective “smart technology.”

Dems make big push for open borders

As Miller put it, Biden is governing out of spite toward Trump and his “America First” agenda, and making America weaker and less safe in the process. “You can’t govern from a position of reactive anger. That’s so poisonous and destructive to basically say, ‘We’re going to do a radical opposite of the Trump administration border security. That’s it. We’re ending border security forever,'” Miller said.

Biden’s America Last bill would need ten Republicans supporting it to bypass a filibuster, but Democrats are hellbent on passing it one way or another. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who introduced the bill Thursday alongside Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA), said that Congress has a “moral imperative” to pass the legislation and even suggested those against Biden’s open borders plan are on the “fringe.”

“We have compromised too much and capitulated too quickly to fringe voices who have refused to accept the humanity and contributions of immigrants to our country,” he said.

The question now is whether Republicans will stick to their word and block the bill, or cave to the far left.
