‘Their lives have been threatened’: Sidney Powell reveals why election fraud witnesses remain hidden

Attorney Sidney Powell is making the rounds with the latest wrinkle in her developing claims of widespread voter fraud at play in the recent presidential election.

In her latest claims, she said that whistleblowers who observed fraud involving machines operated by Dominion Voting Systems have been threatened and assaulted as a result of their statements.

“One witness we know got beaten up”

“They’re going to lose their job, their lives have been threatened,” the lawyer said. “One witness we know got beaten up and is in the hospital.”

As she has previously alleged, electronic voting machines owned by the company were manipulated to flip a staggering number of ballots from President Donald Trump to Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden.

While Powell has appeared alongside the Trump legal team in previous news conferences, the campaign’s attorneys have distanced themselves from her in light of the most recent claims.

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s Hannity on Monday, Powell responded to a question about why those witnesses had not stepped forward to testify. She indicated that many fear for their safety and their careers.

“Some are within the government, and some are possibly in different roles that require confidentiality, and they’re not in a position where they can come forward without certain protections in place,” she said.

“Democrats don’t like whistleblowers”

According to Powell, the whistleblowers have witnessed “all kinds of repercussions” as a result of their testimony. She went on to declare that “Democrats don’t like whistleblowers.”

As for her previous election-related court challenges, the attorney filed suits in multiple states demanding that their election results be overturned based on fraud allegations linked to Dominion.

For its part, the company has denied Powell’s claims, stating that its employees have also received death threats.

The Trump campaign continues to fight the results of an election it believes was rigged in favor of Biden, citing a number of potential factors.

In a defiant video statement released on Wednesday, he asserted: “We were told repeatedly that it would take weeks, if not months, to determine the winner, to count the absentee ballots, and to verify the results. In fact, they were acting like they already knew what the outcome was going to be.”
