Report: Former business associate of Hunter Biden to meet with federal authorities

Tony Bobulinski, a businessman with inside connections to the Bidens, came forward prior to Thursday night’s presidential debate with claims that Democratic nominee Joe Biden was involved in his son’s business deals in China.

The former business partner of Hunter Biden will now meet with the FBI and the Senate to share evidence, according to reports, as the former vice president struggles to keep a growing corruption scandal at bay.

A meeting with the FBI

According to the New York Post, Bobulinski was originally supposed to meet with Senate investigators who have been plumbing Hunter Biden’s financial dealings on Friday, but the meeting was moved so he could meet with federal agents.

Two Senate committees have said that Bobulinski had been asked to turn over three cell phones, which Bobulinski says contain evidence implicating the former VP, as Fox News reports.

“This morning lawyers for Tony Bobulinski informed the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and Senate Finance Committee that the FBI asked [Bobulinski] to sit for an interview today in addition to providing copies of his phones,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said Thursday, according to the New York Post.

The Navy veteran displayed the devices at a press conference this week, where he claimed that Joe was “plainly familiar” with his son’s business “at a high level.” He said that he worked with the Bidens at a company called Sinohawk Holdings and that he had no political agenda.

“What I am is a patriot and a veteran,” Bobulinski said, according to Breitbart.

Senate probes ongoing

In a letter to the New York Post Thursday, Bobulinski added that Joe Biden is the “big guy” referenced in an email from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which has been at the center of controversy.

“Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing,” the letter said, according to Fox 29 in San Antonio. “I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.”

Bobulinski came to the debate, where Trump challenged Joe Biden to clear up the matter for the American people, but the Democrat dodged.

“I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life,” Joe Biden said, angrily insisting he was the target of Russian fabrication, according to Fox 29.

Republican senators have also reportedly been in touch with the Delaware computer repairman who leaked Hunter Biden’s hard drive. Only time will tell what they uncover.
