Angel parents whose children were killed by illegal immigrants say Harris refused to meet with them

Americans who have lost loved ones to illegal immigrants shouldn’t expect any sympathy from Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate ignored Angel parents who visited her office back in January of 2019, according to Breitbart.

Report: Harris ignored Angel parents

Sabine Durden, who lost her son 30-year-old son Dominic in 2012, and Don Rosenberg, who lost his 25-year-old son Drew in 2010, had their lives changed forever when their children were killed by illegal immigrants. Both parents have tried to meet with Harris, without success.

When they visited her office in 2019, they were asked to leave after identifying themselves as two of Harris’ constituents, apparently because the tragedy they suffered is inconvenient for Harris’s political narrative.

Adding insult to injury, a conspicuous sign reading, “DREAMERS are welcome here” in Spanish was planted outside. “I said, ‘They used to have big dreams until they were killed by illegal aliens,’” Durden told Breitbart News.

“I said ‘You are telling DREAMers they are welcome, but us, American citizens and legal immigrants are not welcome?’” Durden continued.

For both parents, Harris’ double standard is a slap in the face. “I see DREAMers are welcome here; what about nightmares?” Rosenberg said. “I said ‘We’re living a nightmare because our kids were both killed by illegal aliens.'”

Democrat plan: put illegals first

Like Biden, Harris wants to issue amnesty for more than 11 million illegal immigrants living in the United States. These policies would create further incentives to drive people to come to the United States illegally.

In Harris’s world, anyone who enters the country illegally is a victim — that is, if the government treats them like criminals, rather than full-fledged citizens.

“She can be at a press conference for DACA recipients, but she can’t meet with a constituent,” Rosenberg said.

Indeed, it seems that Harris has her priorities all figured out: illegal immigrants come first, Americans second.

“Kamala really cares for people, just not American children,” Durden said. “It’s so painful to my heart when I see them fake all this compassion that they don’t have for us. To feign this compassion for people when they don’t have it for their own constituents and American citizens who lost their lives so brutally.”
