Poll: Only half of swing state voters believe Biden is health enough to be President

A critical new survey of swing-state voters shows that despite the Democrat party’s best efforts, Joe Biden’s cognitive health is still a major problem for the upcoming election.

A Restoration PAC poll released this week found that only half of likely voters in Michigan believe that Biden’s physical and mental health is ready for the challenge that being POTUS carries.

Bad news for Biden

Before the coronavirus crisis, Joe Biden was well known for sticking his foot in his mouth on a regular basis. The crisis provided the perfect cover for the Democrat party’s goal of keeping Biden as quiet as possible in the months leading up to the election.

However, as the nation tenuously emerges from the grip of the virus, Biden’s mental fitness is again at the forefront of voters’ minds.

Democrats have touted numerous polls showing up to double-digit leads for Biden in a head-to-head matchup, but conveniently ignore specific surveys such as the Restoration PAC poll that tells a less triumphant story for Biden.

The Restoration PAC survey asked voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — three key battleground states that could make or break the election — if they believe that Joe Biden is “fully up the task mentally and physically to handle the duties of president of the United States.”

The survey was conducted from June 8-20 among 600 likely voters in each of the three states. Just over half of the respondents from Michigan replied that they believe Biden is up to the task, but 40.2 percent said he was not. Only 9.5 percent said they were still undecided.

The results from Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were similar.

Breitbart reported:

50 percent of respondents in Wisconsin expressed confidence in Biden, while 42.2 percent said “no” and 7.8 percent remained undecided.

Pennsylvania voters expressed similar sentiments. Only 48.7 percent said Biden was up to the task both mentally and physically, compared to 45 percent who said “no” and 6.3 percent who remained unsure. Across the board, the results are virtually split between those who definitively say Biden is mentally and physically able to handle the presidency and those who said “no” and remain uncertain.

Get him on stage

Biden’s concerning pattern of public gaffes and memory lapses has been suppressed by his Democrat handlers as Biden hides in his basement, but the Trump campaign is not planning to let him get away with it for much longer.

Biden’s most recent gaffe came on Thursday when he claimed that 120 million lives had been lost to coronavirus during a campaign event. Biden did not offer a correction or explanation for the wildly inaccurate remark.

The Trump campaign knows that Biden’s biggest weakness is unscripted appearances that his handlers don’t control, such as presidential debates. The Trump campaign recently successfully negotiated an agreement to three presidential debates with Biden in the upcoming months, though some Trump operatives were reportedly pushing for a fourth — a notion that the Biden campaign soundly rejected.
