Rashida Tlaib poses for photos with members of Palestinian Youth Movement

Rashida Tlaib’s antipathy toward Israel has, once again, been revealed.

This time, Rep. Tlaib (D-MI) was captured in photographs posted to social media with members of the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), a well-known anti-Israel group that has “encouraged violence against Israel” and “justified the use of terrorism” against Israel, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

Unsurprising

According to the Beacon, which first reported this story, the photos were taken at the recently held Arab Texas Festival of Dallas. The Beacon obtained the photos from the social media posts themselves.

“Yesterday, we tabled at the Arab Texas Festival of Dallas! While doing community outreach, Palestinian congresswoman @RashidaTlaib stopped by our table,” read one tweet from PYM. “Thank you Rashida for continuing to stand by your bold stances on Palestine despite unrelenting Zionist backlash!”

Below this caption are two photographs of a smiling Tlaib, posing with several members of the group.

The two young women wore t-shirts bearing the names, “Gaza & Ferguson & Chiapas & Oakland & Aleppo & Standing Rock & Mindanao,” as one user put it, “identifying Palestine w/ all these struggles.”

Who?

On their website, PYM refers to itself as “a transnational, independent, grassroots movement of young Palestinians dedicated to the liberation of our homeland and people.”

In essence, this group has shown a readiness to do whatever it takes to, as they put it, “stop the Zionist occupation and colonization of all Palestine.”

Accordingly, they — as well as Congresswomen Tlaib — are in favor of such things as the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. Even more outrageous is their open support for various terrorist groups, including the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

The Free Beacon report offered some examples of the sort of activities in which PYM has partaken. This “includes a 2018 event held in San Francisco in which attendees called for Israeli soldiers to be kidnapped.” The group also “has memorialized so-called Palestinian martyrs, or those killed or imprisoned while carrying out terrorist attacks on Israel.”

In a Facebook post on July 26, 2018, PYM wrote, “Today, the young martyr, Mohammad Tareq (17 yo), carried out an attack against 3 settlers in the Jewish settlement, Adam, and was subsequently shot and killed. We recognize that our youth are forced into becoming heroes because of the conditions in which they live, and that the people of Palestine will continue to resist until our land and our people are liberated from the river to the sea.” The post continued by quoting Tareq’s last words, in which he called on Palestinians to take up arms.

Enemy of Israel

With this information, it is clear who Tlaib is aligning herself with, and it is thus no surprise that Israel recently blocked her from entering their country. After all, our Congress harbors at least two individuals who are openly hostile to a loyal American ally.
