Groups are calling for the firing of CNN host Chris Cuomo after new information has been released showing his involvement in his brother Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment scandal cover up.
The office of New York Attorney General Letitia James released transcripts and exhibits from her investigation into Andrew Cuomo on Monday.
The information included testimony from Chris confessing he used media connections to find information on the accusers to help cover up the scandal.
“Fired Immediately”
“Reports that Chris Cuomo not only joined strategy calls with his brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, on how to respond to the numerous sexual harassment allegations against him, but actively advised his brother to push back against the allegations, using his position at CNN to seek information on the accusers, are completely unacceptable,” gender-justice group UltraViolet said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“He should be fired immediately,” the statement added.
Campaign Director Elisa Batista added, “I’m going to come out and say it: Many amazing women leaders, including my friends, lost their jobs at Time’s Up due to the Cuomo brothers’ harmful actions–something they had nothing to do with! @CNN should fire Chris Cuomo without severance pay.”

The Atlantic reported on the new information as well in a piece simply titled “Time to Go.”

The tide has shifted from the Cuomo brothers as the darlings of the pandemic to the troublemakers of 2021.
The latest information has already brought the fall of Andrew Cuomo as the governor of New York. It may soon also end the work of his brother at CNN.
