In a message to Americans on Thanksgiving, former President Donald Trump dropped yet another hint that he may be considering another run for the White House in 2024.
According to Fox News, Trump said we’re in the midst of a “very interesting time in our country,” but promised that America would “be great again.”
“A wonderful future”
Trump also predicted that “a wonderful future lies ahead.”
“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again — and we will all do it together. America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction,” Trump said, according to Fox.
“Too many generations of greatness are counting on us,” he added in his brief statement. “Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!”
According to Fox, Trump’s message was relayed in a tweet from his spokesperson, Liz Harrington.

A look ahead
Speculation about Trump throwing his hat in the ring has been swirling for months, but sources indicate he’ll likely wait until after the 2022 midterm elections to make a formal announcement.
If he does mount a bid for the White House, the former president would likely be well-suited to claim the victory. A November poll out of Iowa, which traditionally has one of the earliest primary contests in the nation, showed the former president 11 points ahead of Biden in a hypothetical match-up, according to the New York Post.

Trump also continues to outrank other potential Republican candidates in early primary polls. A report from The Hill earlier this month cited a poll that found “47 percent of registered Republican and independent voters” would support Trump “in a primary, 37 points higher than his nearest competitor, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who comes in second with 10 percent.”
With that, it’s clear that conservative Americans want Trump back in the West Wing. Only time will tell if he’s up for the challenge of again campaigning for the job of leader of the free world.
