It has become easy to tell when the left-leaning mainstream media is having a slow news day, as members of that particular wing of the media immediately focus on race issues, which most of the time aren’t even actual issues.
The latest example came from MSNBC host Tiffany Cross who decided to target the trucking industry, claiming that it’s filled with white men over the age of 55 who mostly support former President Donald Trump, and according to Cross, with no evidence whatsoever other than anecdotal interviews to back her claim, she believes the industry is filled with racists.
Fox News covered Cross’ embarrassing interview with CrossCountry Truck Driving School owner and president Pamela Day, a Black woman who spoke about promoting diversity within the trucking industry.
MSNBC’s @TiffanyDCross: Trucking “is an industry populated by a lot of white men over the age of 55. This group of people overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Some people have talked about, you know, aggressive truck drivers cutting them off or not being helpful.” pic.twitter.com/Ob8Kg03Dwa

“Aggressive truck drivers”
Cross, in what appeared to be a desperate play to drum up non-existent issues, told Day that she’s heard reports of truck drivers, undoubtedly those “racist,” white Trump supporters who drive for a living, being “aggressive” on the road and, gasp, “cutting” drivers off.
“This is an industry populated by a lot of White men over the age of 55,” Cross said. “This group of people overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Some people have talked about aggressive truck drivers cutting them off or not being helpful.”
Cross added: “So, obviously, the more populated it is with people of color I think you’ll see less of that.”
Day, who didn’t appear to take the bait as Cross presumably desired, pivoted to promoting the recruitment of female truck drivers and seemed to have left the race card in Cross’ deck.
Not her first rodeo
Cross isn’t a stranger to attacking people based on the color of their skin, even Black media commentators and guests who refuse to push the same narrative that Cross and her network overlords push on a daily basis.
It was just last month, Fox reported, that Cross stirred major controversy after slamming Black media faces are “not necessarily Black voices.”
“OK, Carlos Watson, Sage Steele, Van Jones. What do these three folks have in common? Well, they’re all people who’ve been prompted up by wealthy or powerful White Americans, and yet we, the keepers of the culture, don’t really rock with any of them like that,” Cross said.
She added: “Now obviously, the three of these folks are definitely Black faces. However, they are not necessarily Black voices. And there’s a difference,” Cross said.
