Biden ‘destroyed 20 years of work in 24 hours,’ decorated British war veteran says

President Joe Biden has been widely criticized for his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that ended with the Taliban in power and an unknown number of U.S. citizens stranded behind enemy lines.

That criticism isn’t just stemming from rightfully ticked-off Americans, however, as the Washington Examiner reported that a highly decorated British war veteran is also hammering Biden and his top officials on the situation.

According to the Examiner, retired Special Operations Staff Sgt. Trevor Coult was previously honored for his service by both Queen Elizabeth and former President George W. Bush. In other words, his criticism carries weight.

Biden is “a danger”

Coult spent just over two decades serving in the British Army, during which time he saw combat action in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. That included surviving 178 engagements with enemy forces along with a trio of bomb blasts.

The British war hero held nothing back when speaking with the Examiner about America’s current leader, calling him “the most incompetent president in the history of the United States.”

“He has befriended terrorists,” Coult said of Biden, complaining, “The White House is not a friend to the West. It’s a danger while he is president.”

Coult added that by allowing the Taliban to overrun Afghanistan, the president had turned his service there into “a total waste,” something the former soldier said he was “absolutely shocked” by.

“Six thousand five hundred people died, including 3,000 deaths at Twin Towers, and we didn’t achieve a single thing,” Coult said, adding that Biden had “destroyed 20 years’ work in less than 24 hours.”

“He betrayed us”

Coult also indicated that he is far from alone in his feelings within his home country, and added that Biden’s actions have lead to a deep sense of distrust among America’s allies.

“We don’t know what he is going to do,” the British vet said. “Why would you help someone who would turn your back on us? We believe Biden is more of a threat to the West than the Taliban ever was. Without a shadow of a doubt. He betrayed us.”

Last month, the Examiner reported that Biden was condemned within the halls of Britain’s Parliament, with Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Tom Tugendhat calling Biden’s sudden withdrawal “a harsh lesson for us.”

Tugendhat, who served in Afghanistan, went on to describe feeling a sense of “anger, grief, and rage” after Biden made the “shameful” decision to cast aside his Afghan allies.
