Report claims Hunter Biden was ‘banned’ from celebrity hangout spot over alleged drug use

Newly unveiled text messages contained on a laptop said to have belonged to Hunter Biden show the son of the current U.S. president was barred from entering the Chateau Marmont, a top celebrity hangout spot, over alleged “drug use,” the Washington Examiner reported exclusively Thursday.

The messages, which date back to 2018, also reportedly revealed that Biden was forced to ask a friend to “retrieve his personal belongings still on the property,” which is colloquially known as the Chateau, the Examiner said.

“Did you know that I have to get pre-approval from the GM at the Chateau before I am allowed to make a reservation?” an incredulous Hunter Biden wrote to an employee at the facility in one message, according to the Examiner.

He added: “Seriously I tried to stay there late last night and the [expletive] handing me keys when he read a note in the system that said under no circumstance am I allowed in bldg [building] without her pre approval.”

“Embarrassing”

The Examiner reported Thursday that the Chateau employee later told Biden he’d been barred from the facility over “drug use.”

The employee seemed to side with the younger Biden, writing: “Apparently you were banned for ‘drug use’ is what I was just told, which is bull****.”

Even Hunter Biden admitted in a subsequent message that the situation was “embarrassing,” as the Examiner noted.

Just the latest

Of course, this isn’t the first time that President Joe Biden’s son has come under scrutiny for content contained on a laptop that Hunter was said to have left behind at a Delaware computer repair shop years ago.

The New York Post first reported on the laptop’s existence just a month before November’s presidential election, but the report was largely stifled by Big Tech operatives at platforms like Facebook and Twitter who initially banned users from sharing it.

The companies made an abrupt about-face days later, as The New York Times reported, but the damage was apparently already done.

In a report after the election, the New York Post cited a Rasmussen poll that said more than half of likely voters believed suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop bombshell by those in the mainstream media was part of an effort “to boost [Joe] Biden’s prospects in the election.”

As the White House struggles to fend off the latest allegations against the president’s son, a federal investigation into the younger Biden’s “tax affairs” remains ongoing, the Post reported separately.
