White House press secretary Jen Psaki revealed in a CNN podcast Thursday that President Joe Biden has been recommended not to take impromptu questions.
“That is not something we recommend. In fact, a lot of times we say ‘don’t take questions,'” she said.
“But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States,” Psaki added.
Right when our nation needs bold leadership, we get a president told not to answer questions from reporters.
“I’m Going to Get in Trouble”
If he does, we have heard the president say, “I’m going to get in trouble for this.”
Who is Biden in trouble with? Psaki? Jill Biden? Americans want to know who is really calling the shots.
Vice President Kamala Harris has taken a more prominent role. She has been assigned to about every other policy in the administration.
But it doesn’t seem to matter. Harris has yet to visit the nation’s southern border after six weeks in her immigration role.
There are may questions Americans would like answers to, but it doesn’t help if the president won’t take a question. Reading a teleprompter for a speech has its place, but not for every public remark.
The Contrast Could Not Be Greater
The contrast could not be greater. Former President Donald Trump would take on reporters who seethed with hatred toward him.
He didn’t need a handler or help from note cards. Trump spoke his mind, even when it was unpopular in his own party to do so.
Then again, Trump was banned from most social media. It’s amazing what holding leftist views can do to help you with the media.
Seems like D.C. swamp could use some of Trump’s quick response answers again. It could be a while, but 2024 will be here before we know it.
Even if Trump does not become the candidate, there are plenty of conservatives ready to speak with authority on the issues. Cruz, Rubio, Carson and others help some quality debates in the last run.
It could be fun to see who steps up for the next battle against the left. At least they will answer questions instead of ignore them. That’s already one step ahead of Biden.
