Peter Navarro says his team has ‘the receipts’ to prove Democrats ‘stole this election’

White House adviser Peter Navarro told Jeanine Pirro on Saturday that he has “receipts” demonstrating conclusively that Democrats stole the 2020 presidential election from President Donald Trump.

Navarro told the Fox News host that he was a member of a team of six Trump allies who briefed hundreds of state lawmakers on just how Democrats pulled it off, the Washington Examiner reported.

Democrats “as a matter of strategy, stole this election” using “legal means” to rig an “illegal” outcome, Navarro said, according to the Examiner.

“We gave them the receipts”

Navarro, who released a report in December detailing evidence of irregularities in the election, revealed Saturday that he and others explained the heist step-by-step to hundreds of Republican state legislators in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in a Zoom call earlier that day.

Also on the call with Navarro, according to The Epoch Times, were Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani; law professor John Eastman, who represented the president in Texas’ lawsuit against battleground states; and John Lott, a senior adviser to the Justice Department who released a report on alleged fraud. The president himself also delivered an address, according to a press release.

“We gave them the receipts,” Navarro told Pirro Saturday, as the Washington Examiner reported. “We explained exactly how the Democrat Party, as a matter of strategy, stole this election from Donald J. Trump.”

The White House adviser went on: “These legislators — they are hot. They are angry. They want action.”

“We can prove it”

For weeks, Trump and his allies have called on Republican state legislatures to appoint electors for Trump to rectify alleged fraud.

At the national level, some Republican senators have said that they plan to object on Wednesday, Jan. 6, when Congress tallies up the Electoral College votes; Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was the first to announce he would do so last week, as reported by NBC News.

Another group of Republicans, led by Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), is demanding an emergency 10-day audit of the results in a separate effort to contest the results Wednesday. A protest in support of the president is planned for the same day in Washington, D.C.

Navarro, for his part, said Saturday that he would release another report Monday called the “Art of the Steal” that “shows beyond a shadow of a doubt this election was stolen,” and the adviser remarked that he would “not be surprised” if a special counsel is appointed to continue investigating.

“They stole this, we can prove it,” he told Pirro. “And Vice President [Mike] Pence, he has the authority to give that 10-day window to do what needs to get done, and I cannot imagine when he looks at the facts, he won’t vote the right way on that,” Navarro added, according to Newsweek.
