‘I’m again overdrawn’: Hunter Biden texts show multiple requests for cash from father

Even as Election Day has come and gone, a scandal involving Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his family’s international business ties continues to evolve through the introduction of new details and allegations.

In a tangentially related development, Biden’s son, Hunter, was called out for repeatedly calling on his well-connected father for a financial bailout, as reported by the Daily Caller.

“Please cash app me $2,000”

Newly released text messages from the younger Biden’s recovered computer hard drive reportedly show that the former vice president came to his son’s rescue on multiple occasions.

Along with a sordid personal narrative that includes a costly divorce and a romantic fling with a stripper, Hunter Biden has come under increasing scrutiny for his involvement in foreign deals — especially in countries where his father had political influence, such as China and Ukraine.

Allegations stemming from a bombshell New York Post report link Joe Biden to his son’s deals, and some of those claims were corroborated by former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski.

It remains unclear to what extent, if any, the elder Biden played a role in lining his son’s pockets through international deals, text messages between the two made it clear Joe Biden helped in more direct ways.

“Dad can you please cash app me $2,000,” Hunter Biden texted his father on March 15, 2019. “I’m again overdrawn in my account for bills that can’t be left unpaid.”

An array of damning details

He also reportedly emailed a business partner with a request for gas money.

Other documents reportedly recovered from Hunter Biden’s hard drive show that he was paying $37,000 per month in alimony.

While these messages might be innocuous in nature, they were recovered alongside a series of other disturbing details that contribute to an expanding narrative regarding the Biden family’s dubious business connections.

Among the emails highlighted in the Post report was a message signaling that Joe Biden met with an executive from a Ukrainian oil firm as his son enjoyed a lucrative board position despite a dearth of relevant experience.

The nominee and his campaign have sought to skirt the issue when confronted in the final days of the campaign. Despite the outcome of the election, however, it seems clear this Biden family controversy will not simply go away with the passage of time.
