Tucker Carlson has the most popular show in the history of cable news, according to the latest Nielsen ratings.
The Fox News host averaged an incredible more-than 5.3 million viewers a night this October, leading Fox in a record-setting month.
Carlson has highest rated show in cable history
Carlson also topped 1 million viewers in the 25-to-54 age demographic, making his show the first program to do so since September 2008. His total viewership grew by 66% this year.
“The program marked a new record this month, earning the highest-rated monthly viewership of any program in the history of cable news. Tucker Carlson Tonight also secured the number one spot in all of cable news across all categories, garnering over 5.3 million viewers, 1 million in the key demographic, and 670,000 in the 18-49 demo, beating the CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell,” Fox said in a press release.
With Carlson leading the way, Fox News crushed its competitors at CNN And MSNBC, averaging 4.9 million viewers in primetime.
MSNBC followed behind with 2.7 million, and CNN with 2.46 million.
Fox News’ primetime lineup overall had its best month ever, with Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham setting personal records in total viewers and the 25-to-54 demographic, averaging 5.1 million total viewers and 4.1 million total viewers, respectively.
America loves Tucker
Carlson has made no secret of his disgust with the mainstream media, which often seems to operate more as a protection racket for the powerful than a check. Lately, Carlson has been highly critical of the press for dismissing evidence of corruption involving the Biden family as “Russian disinformation,” as well as Big Tech companies for censoring the story.
Tucker aired an exclusive interview Tuesday night with Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden’s. Bobulinski shared shocking details and evidence implicating Joe Biden in his family’s dealings, including texts and an audio recording.
“I didn’t request to meet with Joe,” he said. “They requested that I meet with Joe [Biden]. They were putting their entire family legacy on the line. They knew exactly what they were doing.”
The media ignored the story.
Carlson has won many fans with his singularly brilliant and fearless commentary, and his appeal — deservedly so — only seems to be growing.
