Resurfaced video shows Joe and Hunter Biden emerging from Air Force Two in China

Democrat presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden has been doing his best to clamp down on reports alleging that his son Hunter used his connections to the White House for financial gain — but a shocking video has just resurfaced that threatens to derail his efforts.

Highlighted in a recent report from the right-leaning Citizen Free Press, a video first published by The Guardian in December 2013 shows then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter emerging from Air Force Two after landing in China. The resurfaced clip only adds to questions that have been mounting in recent days about whether Hunter Biden capitalized on his father’s influence to make a quick buck — and whether the former VP knew about it.

Growing problems

The problems for the Bidens started nearly two weeks ago when the New York Post put out a report alleging that it had obtained access to the hard drive of a laptop said to have belonged to Hunter Biden. On the hard drive, Post reporters found emails that they said proved “Hunter Biden introduced his father…to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.”

But that was far from the only bombshell to come out of what President Donald Trump has called the “laptop from hell.”

Just last week, Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said he turned over to police text messages and photos found on the hard drive that contained “sexually explicit” content “involving underage girls,” according to the Washington Examiner. Now, all the focus is on China after a former business associate of Hunter Biden’s has come forward to say Joe Biden knew all about his son’s business dealings there, a claim the former vice president has repeatedly denied.

“I have heard Joe Biden say he’s never discussed business with Hunter. That is false,” Tony Bobulinski said at a press conference last Thursday, according to the Daily Caller. “I have firsthand knowledge about this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden.”

Bobulinski went on: “In my hour-long meeting with Joe Biden we discussed Biden family business dealings with the Chinese, with which he was plainly familiar.”

The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis has also published text messages that allegedly show Hunter Biden setting up a business meeting between representatives of a Chinese company, his father Joe Biden, and his uncle James Biden. The messages also seem to indicate that the meeting did, in fact, take place.

Biden denies

Joe Biden, for his part, has steadfastly denied any involvement in his son’s overseas business dealings. “I have not taken a penny from any foreign source, ever, in my life,” he said at the final presidential debate, according to The Hill. “Nothing was unethical.”

With new evidence coming to light each day, however, the Democrat’s denials are becoming less and less believable.
