Ex-Biden associate says family wasn’t worried about Joe’s White House aspirations: ‘Plausible deniability’
Joe Biden’s brother, Jim, may have spilled the beans about the way his family handles business.
According to Fox News, former Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski revealed this week that Jim Biden made a comment about “plausible deniability” when asked if the family was worried that their international business deals would risk Joe’s presidential aspirations.
“Plausible deniability”
Bobulinski sat down with Tucker Carlson for an extended interview Tuesday night that drew some 7.6 million viewers, according to Fox. There, the businessman revealed shocking details about the Biden family’s business.
As Fox reported, Bobulinski said he was involved with the Bidens through a partnership between the family and CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming, and that Joe Biden was fully aware of his son’s business with communist China.
Bobulinski also recalled that he was invited to meet with Joe Biden on May 2, 2017, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, to discuss business at a “high level.” He met with the then-vice president again the next morning, after Joe Biden gave a speech at a Milken conference, Fox reported.
Later, Bobulinski says he asked Jim Biden about whether the family was concerned about their business dealings affecting any plans Biden had to run for president. The former VP’s brother reportedly laughed and said simply, “Plausible deniability.”
“‘Plausible deniability,’ he said it directly to me in a cabana at the Peninsula Hotel,” Bobulinski claimed, according to Fox.
“You’re going to bury all of us”
Bobulinski also revealed Tuesday that he got a glimpse of dealings that Jim Biden and his nephew, Hunter, were involved with in countries like Romania, Oman, Luxembourg, and Kazakhstan throughout his travels and conversations.
“These guys had been doing extensive work around the world in places like Oman, Luxembourg, Romania, that I was being made aware of, but I obviously hadn’t come off the bench and agreed to be part of this,” the businessman said, according to a transcript from RealClearPolitics.
Bobulinski added that he believes the Bidens are “compromised” by China and noted that he only decided to step forward when the Democrat and his allies smeared him as a Russian agent in an attempt to suppress the story. Bobulinski provided texts, legal documents, and other evidence to back up his claims, including an audio recording of a phone conversation he had with a Biden associate, Rob Walker.
Bobulinski threatened to go public if Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (NY) would not retract the Russia smear, prompting a panicked response from Walker himself.
“You’re just going to bury all of us, man,” Walker said, according to the New York Post.
