As this year’s presidential race heats up, the contrasts between the agendas being put forth by Republicans and Democrats are coming into stark relief.
Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro highlighted those differences in very direct terms during Saturday’s episode of her prime time show, and she explained what they might mean for the country and the very freedoms enjoyed by its citizens, as Breitbart reported.
“79 days to decide”
“You have 79 days to decide,” Breitbart quoted the former New York state judge as reminding her viewers. “What do you want? Do you want the freedom to do what you want?”
During the broadcast, she not only mentioned the intrusive and arbitrary responses of some state governments to the coronavirus pandemic, she also underscored the ways in which local authorities in cities across the country are failing to maintain basic law and order.
Pirro complained that “legitimate and constitutionally protected protests in support of black lives were hijacked by left-wing progressives determined to create chaos and ultimately take down America as we know it,” adding that looters have “burned down businesses owned by people of all races and ethnicities.”
“And just this week, the anarchy of the left continued in Chicago, where I lived for three years, where luxury stores on the Magnificent Mile Michigan Avenue were looted by criminals justifying their destruction and thievery,” she remarked.
“This is nonsense”
Pirro next played video footage of Black Lives Matter activist Ariel Atkins telling supporters that stealing is merely a justifiable form of “reparations” and adding, “Anything they want to take, take it.”
“These rioters were heartless, breaking windows as they attempted to break into a Ronald McDonald House where petrified children with cancer were inside,” Pirro pointed out.
She then showed a video in which leftist radicals were yelling obscenities at white residents of a Seattle neighborhood and telling them to give up their homes.
“This is nonsense. Americans are afraid. Not only are gun sales through the roof, sales of body armor are up 80% due to the unrest. People are afraid” Pirro declared.
“If you like America today, Bunker Biden and Kamala are just the couple for you,” Pirro said of the 2020 Democratic ticket as she drew to a close. “They remain silent and allow, indeed, support the anarchy destroying our country and our history,” continuing:
President Donald Trump who believes in the freedoms that started this country that have brought us to the height of prosperity is one who will speak for us, a man willing to fight to make this nation the image of the one our founding fathers intended.
As is often the case, it is difficult to take issue with any of Pirro’s brutally honest conclusions.
