Soros-funded group looking to prevent Trump’s reelection with left wing group

Liberal billionaire George Soros is once again doing what he can to influence an election.

According to a report by NBC News, a group partially funded by Soros has said that it will get six million Hispanic Americans to vote this November to help prevent President Donald Trump from getting reelected.

Who are they?

The group that is apparently organizing this is called United We Dream.

“United We Dream is the largest immigrant youth-led community in the country,” the group’s mission statement read. “We create welcoming spaces for young people – regardless of immigration status – to support, engage, and empower them to make their voice heard and win!”

Going along with this, United We Dream, according to Breitbart, has pushed for granting amnesty to all illegal aliens currently residing in America, especially those enrolled in Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), the program set up by former president Barack Obama.

Going back to at least 2015, George Soros has been a United We Dream donor.

“Powering up”

According to the NBC report, United We Dream is now “powering up” in order to “reach 6 million youth and low-propensity Latino voters for the November election.”

“We know that in order to defend immigrants, protect DACA and defend our democracy that Trump must be defeated this November,” said Christina Jimenez, the executive director and co-founder of the group.

One group of people that United We Dream will be focusing on are the relatives of DACA recipients, who were handed a big win this week by the Supreme Court, which stopped the Trump administration from putting an end to DACA. According to Jimenez, this group consists of roughly 2.5 million people who she would like to get to vote against Trump in the general election.

Not the only one

As Breitbart reports, United We Dream is far from the only leftist organization that will be trying to get anyone and everyone out to vote this November. It isn’t even the only group to which George Soros can be tied.

“A whole swath of leftist organizations is involved in the get-out-the-vote effort, including the SEIU, the Sunrise Movement, the Soros-funded Center for Popular Democracy, the Youth Alliance, and LUCHA Arizona,” Breitbart notes.

We’ll certainly have to keep an eye out for how these efforts will impact the general election.
