Report: Fox News parts ways with Diamond & Silk

Fox News Stars Diamond & Silk have reportedly been fired from Fox Nation, the outlet’s online streaming service.

According to an anonymous source, Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson — who have contributed content to Fox Nation since 2018 — are not expected to appear on the network again “anytime soon.”

Rumors swirling

Diamond & Silk are outspoken Trump supporters, and during a March 30 livestream of their show appeared to imply that coronavirus death numbers were being misreported in order to smear the president.

“What I need to know is how many people have passed away in New York, and what I need to know is: Who has the bodies?” Said Diamond during the stream.

“I need for somebody that does investigative work to call the morgues. To call the funeral homes. We need to know, because I don’t trust anything else that comes out of his mouth now… Something’s not right here. Something is off here.”

“Is this being deliberately spread? Look, I’m not being a conspiracy theorist, this is real, but I’m asking my own questions,” she continued. “What the hell is going on?”

The Daily Beast first reported on Monday that the anonymous source confirmed that “after what they’ve said and tweeted you won’t be seeing them on Fox Nation or Fox News anytime soon.”

Both Fox News and the MAGA duo have been silent about the swirling reports, but the pair has also not uploaded any new videos to Fox Nation since the beginning of April.

Trump isn’t happy

This news comes right after Donald Trump recently expressed his displeasure at the direction Fox News has taken in recent months.

He tweeted on Sunday that “Fox News just doesn’t get what’s happening! They are being fed Democrat talking points, and they play them without hesitation or research.”

He fumed in a string of tweets that he has “no respect” for the leadership at Fox and targeted several prominent stars such as Donna Brazile and Chris Wallace, both of whom he has been highly critical of in the past as well.

“The people who are watching FoxNews, in record numbers (thank you President Trump), are angry,” He said. “They want an alternative now. So do I!”
