AOC Melts Down Over Pence Heading Coronavirus Response…Gets DESTROYED For Misusing The Word ‘Literally’
Add the definition of the word “literally” to the growing list of pressing issues that we must address in the midst of all the other craziness going on in the world.
Why? Because it has taken quite the beating lately from Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media.
Earlier this week, I wrote about how CNN’s vice president of communications and digital partnerships Matt Dornic tried to white knight for “journalist” Jim Acosta over criticism he received on his latest attention-grabbing stunt during a Trump press conference in India.
In particular, Dornic was upset that Fox News’ Chris Wallace said he was “horrified” by Acosta’s actions. Dornic petulantly responded by asserting that Wallace “literally works for state TV” which, of course is literally not true.
Almost literally a day later, Squad leader Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) erupted in outrage after President Trump named Vice President Pence to oversee the White House’s coronavirus response messaging. Pence, AOC tweeted, “literally does not believe in science”:
Mike Pence literally does not believe in science.
It is utterly irresponsible to put him in charge of US coronavirus response as the world sits on the cusp of a pandemic.
This decision could cost people their lives. Pence’s past decisions already have. https://t.co/NhMPOusOWm— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 27, 2020
This prompted calls from others for a “robust” discussion as to what the words “literally” and “science” actually mean:
We are long overdue for a robust debate about the meaning of the word "literally." https://t.co/xPs7D5t8Xn

How about after the debate of the meaning of the word SCIENCE. I don’t think that word means what SHE thinks it means.

You literally think pre-born babies aren't lives. You literally think there are more than two genders. You are not an authority on science.
