Congressional Democrats have long blocked President Donald Trump’s efforts to secure the southern border and refused to adequately fund immigrant detention facilities — and Judge Jeanine Pirro thinks she knows why.
During an appearance on Todd Starnes’ Fox Nation radio program, Pirro framed the Democrats’ approach to immigration as part of an electoral strategy. “Their plan and their plot to remake America is to bring in the illegals, change the way the voting occurs in this country, give them licenses, [then] they get to vote maybe once, maybe twice, maybe three times,” the judge explained.
She went on: “You’ve got motor voter registration on the day of the election…we’ve got voter rolls that haven’t been purged of dead people in years, where the Democrats have resisted that. Think about it, it is a plot to remake America — to replace American citizens with illegals who will vote for the Democrats.”
“All people should be free to be here”
Evidence that Democrats are soft on illegal immigration isn’t hard to find. During a speech in July, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) said that “all people should be free to be, here and in our communities.”
“I think migration, to me, is liberation,” the congresswoman said. “It’s the ability to move and be — it’s the freedom to be, really, is what we’re talking about. And I think that all people should be free to be here, and in our communities.”

Moreover, all but two participants in the first Democratic presidential debate pledged to decriminalize illegal border crossings, according to Fox News. And there was unanimous agreement among the candidates that illegal aliens should be provided with government-funded health care.
In fact, former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke is not only opposed to building a border wall, but he has actually promised to tear down existing barriers. According to him, “Walls do not save lives, walls end lives.”
Two years ago, Democrats even managed to try and drum up sympathy for MS-13. The transnational gang is known for subjecting its victims to gruesome deaths, which has led the president to characterize them as “animals.”
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded: “When all of our great-great-grandparents came to America they weren’t ‘animals,’ and these people aren’t either.”

Meanwhile, Democrat-run states and cities have taken to declaring themselves “sanctuary jurisdictions.” California limits the ability of law enforcement to work with immigration authorities, according to National Review, and also issues drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. And it’s not the only state to do so.
California Democrats also aren’t the only ones to oppose voter ID laws; across the country, Democrats have stood against measures to fight electoral fraud.
Judge Pirro contends this is all a way for Democrats to “get rid of” Trump and marginalize “people like you and me who put him into office.” Unfortunately, it looks like she’s right.
