Nearly two dozen MS-13 gang members hit with murder charges in California: Report

In May 2018, President Donald Trump referred to members of the infamous El Salvador-based gang MS-13 as “animals,” vowing to extirpate the group from America. Trump’s designation for the group drew sharp criticism at the time from the likes of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who, in a rare move for a Democrat, invoked religion to question whether the president believes “in the dignity and worth of every person.”

Now, a new report from Breitbart shows just what kind of people Pelosi was defending. Last week, authorities in Los Angeles arrested 22 MS-13 gang members on charges of murder — and the details are downright disturbing.

Gruesome killings

The criminal indictments detail a series of gruesome killings by the gang, according to a report from Breitbart. In one case, the report notes, “six of the MS-13 Gang members charged kidnapped, choked, and attacked a rival gang member with a machete.”

The gang members then cut up their victim and threw his dismembered body parts into a canyon. One gang member even cut the victim’s heart out of his chest, according to Breitbart.

The group is reportedly known for “medieval-style violence.”

“Taking violent offenders off the street should send a message to MS-13 members and their associates that medieval-style violence and senseless murder will not be tolerated in Los Angeles,” a spokesman for the Los Angeles office of the FBI said in a statement. “Working with our local partners, we expect to impact MS-13’s influence in gang-occupied communities.”

Endless violence

Breitbart’s initial report noted that MS-13 is “primarily made up of illegal aliens, Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs), and newly arrived immigrants living in the U.S.” Unsurprisingly, subsequent reports confirmed suspicions that at least some of the gang members had entered the U.S. illegally.

The conservative outlet alleged that “of the 22 MS-13 gang members charged with the vicious murders, at least 14 came to the U.S. as illegal aliens” — 13 from El Salvador and 1 from Honduras.

Four more of the suspects were reportedly born in the U.S.

Reports could not confirm the immigration statuses of the other four gang members.

But while criminals like these continue to flood America’s streets, Dems in Washington like Pelosi are continuing to turn a blind eye. Meanwhile, sanctuary cities across the nation have only exacerbated the problem, Fox News reports.
