Judge Jeanine Pirro wasn’t impressed after last week’s first round of Democratic primary debates.
In her opening statement on Saturday’s edition of Justice with Judge Jeanine, the Fox News host revived her “Democrat clown car” analogy, lambasting the field of 20 top Democrats vying for the White House for failing to protect the interests of everyday Americans.
“The Democrat clown car — overloaded with mayors, senators, governors, socialists, and a spiritual advisor — continued down its bumpy road to nowhere in its second day of debates,” Pirro said. “‘Twas a sight to behold.”
“Upside-down, backwards, and inside-out”
When NBC’s Savannah Guthrie asked during the second night of debate on Thursday who among the 10 candidates on stage planned to provide health care coverage to undocumented immigrants, every single one of them raised their hand. And according to Judge Jeanine, it was that response from Dems that “finished them.”
“Forget about everything you learned about the Constitution, law and order, the rules, and playing fair and square,” she said. “In their eyes, the world is an upside-down, backwards, and inside-out place.”
Pirro predicted that the American people won’t buy the Democrats’ “upside-down” logic come November 2020. “The reason Donald Trump, an outsider, was elected president was because Americans were tired of their interests not being protected. Donald Trump will win in 2020 for the same reason,” she said.
“In over his clown shoes”
The Fox star went on to call out the candidates by name who were the biggest clowns last week.
“Hopeful Andrew Yang was out to lunch when a question was put to him,” Pirro reported, referring to the tech entrepreneur’s response to a question from a moderator asking how Yang planned to fund his $3.2 trillion per year plan to “give every adult in the United States $1,000 a month, no questions asked:” “I’m sorry?”
But Judge Jeanine didn’t stop there.
“[Former Vice President Joe] Biden, in over his clown shoes when he couldn’t distinguish his approval of Obama’s deportation of 3 million illegals and the separation of children and families at the border — just like Trump — other than to say, ‘Obama did a heck of a job,'” Pirro said.
She then turned her attention to Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT), who told debate moderator and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on Thursday that an exact quote he gave in 2013 asserting that the states should make their own decisions on gun control was “a mischaracterization of [his] thinking.”
“Get that,” Pirro quipped, “a mischaracterization of his thinking.”
“Hold onto your pocketbook”
It was based on the Democrats’ performances Wednesday and Thursday nights that Pirro, in a rare moment, agreed with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY): “They all look like high school students who didn’t do their homework.”
“But in the end, none of that matters. Just hold onto your pocketbook. They just put a lien on your money, your savings, and your retirement,” Pirro warned. “Everything changed when everyone on that stage raised their hand saying all illegals should be given health care — and by the way, it’s not like they haven’t already been getting health care in our hospitals and emergency rooms.”
Asserting that this platform from Dems doesn’t have the support of the American people, Pirro concluded that Trump has nothing to worry about come 2020. “Not only is Trump still in his Lamborghini, all of those in the clown car are in his rearview mirror,” she said.
