As we told you, Al Green got his way and brought his impeachment resolution to the floor. But it didn’t go the way he was hoping. Democrats voted to table his resolution, effectively killing it:

This is the third time Green’s impeachment resolution has been defeated. Here’s a quick history lesson on the first two times:
First effort by Rep. Al Green to impeach President Trump was tabled by House 364-58 with 4 voting Present on December 6, 2017. All 58 voting No were Democrats who supported his impeachment effort. https://t.co/aJB7ZapXDj pic.twitter.com/d7STmycMdH

Second effort by Rep. Al Green to impeach President Trump was tabled by House 355-66 with 3 voting Present on January 19, 2018. All 66 voting No were Democrats who supported his impeachment effort. https://t.co/hQ6ggaxAO7 pic.twitter.com/3q0Vt26fYk

So Democrats have clearly increased their members who want to impeach the president just because they hate him. From 58, to 66, to 95!
