On Friday, reports that actor Alec Baldwin was arrested began coming out on social media.
KTLA Los Angeles reported that Baldwin was arrested for allegedly “punching a man in the face” over a “parking spot.”
Baldwin has just come out with a statement on the incident. Baldwin used his HAB Foundation Twitter account to comment on the alleged charges.
1- Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story.
However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false.
I wanted to go on the record stating as much.

Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos, it doesn’t make the statements true.
