Another week, another shameless display of unfettered awfulness by the Party of Trump in their pursuit of placing Brett Kavanaugh into a permanent place of power that only serves their most nefarious interests. It almost feels like hyperbole to type that, but alas, it’s the sad and simple truth. But still, we fight.
This week, our beautiful Daily Kos community pushed back against that agenda with a ferocity I’ve only seen a couple times in my admittedly short tenure on staff. So much of the good work done this week, like last week (and the week before, to be honest), was focused on challenging and unavoidable discussions of sexual assault. These are the conversations, difficult as they may be, that have dominated national discourse for most of September. To each of you throwing your valued voice into the mix, I send my gratitude.
