Much to the disappointment of liberals everywhere, former Vice President Joe Biden has nixed the idea of an after-school brawl with President Trump.
In fact, the Democrat regretted his remark, adding that he did not want to “get down in the mosh pit” with Trump, during an interview with Pod Save America.

Referring to the Access Hollywood tape of President Trump making crude comments about women, Biden told a group of University of Miami college Democrats last week that he would have “beat the hell out of him” if they were in high school.
Trump slammed back in a tweet, warning Biden that “he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way,” if he attempted to take him on.
Biden earned plenty of backlash for his macho talk, but was asked about naming the imaginary fight in a tongue-in-cheek segment of the podcast. Suggestions included “Scranton Squabble,” “MAGA Saga,” “1600 Punchsylvania Avenue,” and “The Big F***ing Duel.” The former Delaware senator listened to the choices and appeared to be amused by some, such as “Spar-A-Lago,” but finally interjected.
“I think they’re all good, guys,” Biden said. “But what I did say was – the way this came up – and I shouldn’t have said what I said because I don’t want to get down in the mosh pit with this guy. ”
Biden recalled similar remarks he made at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania in 2016.
“Now the idea that I would actually physically get in a contest with the president of the United States or anybody else now is not what I said and it’s not what this is about,” he continued in the podcast. “The truth of the matter is I find the behavior, the talk, vulgar. I find it degrading.”
He emphasized that his declaration to beat the hell out of Trump behind the gym at high school was used in that context – “in high school” – and backtracked on his words.
“I never, ever at any time said I would like to personally, physically, etc. ,” he said, throwing in a bit of bravado at the end.
“But I think it’s important to continue to make the point. Women are entitled to be treated with respect, dammit,” he said, adding that “it’s about time” men stood up and became “part of the solution.”
Of course, Biden is one to talk about respecting women.

Creepy Uncle Joe has been the subject of many memes over the years as photos and videos have made him the target of mockery over his penchant to be a bit affectionate in his physical interaction with females.
And as for a match between the former veep and current president, if one ever did materialize? The votes were in on Twitter, and “Spar-A-Lago” took the prize.
Spar-a-lago was my fave.
