Leftist actress triggered by Trump report from last year

Actress Bette Midler, the unofficial president of the anti-Trump Hollywood elitist club, made headlines again last week after leveling an asinine “murder” allegation against former President Donald Trump.

According to Breitbart, Midler tweeted a shocking allegation on Friday in which she claimed Trump, at a televised debate last year with then-candidate Joe Biden, tried to “murder” his opponent by intentionally infecting him with COVID-19.

She went on to say she believes Trump is “the devil.”

What did she say?

At 1:20 a.m., the famed Hollywood elitist, who has often criticized those on the right for spreading conspiracy theories, claimed, without proof, that Trump knew he had COVID-19 before a debate and purposely attempted to infect his opponent on stage.

“#DonaldTrump should be arrested for attempted murder. He tried to infect & kill #JoeBiden at the debate; by turning up too late to be tested, knowing full well he was positive; then screeched, sputtered, spit, and foamed at the mouth, hoping to infect Joe. He IS the devil,” Midler wrote.

The origins of Midler’s senile ramblings seemed to stem from a new book published by Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, who revealed that the 45th president tested positive for COVID-19 just three days prior to the debate.

However, Meadows adds that upon testing positive, the president was administered a more comprehensive COVID-19 test which revealed that he tested negative for the virus, thus clearing the way to attend the highly-anticipated debate event.

“The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News,” a statement from Trump read. “In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.”

What a hypocrite

Like so many others in Hollywood, Midler’s hypocrisy was on full display, as in September 2020, just before the debate, Midler signaled to her millions of followers that she desired to see Trump physically assaulted during the debate with Biden.

“I have to say this to #VicePresidentBiden, who is much more conservative than I ‘Sir, on Tuesday night you will be going toe to toe with a stupid, but wily street fighter. My advice is KICK HIM IN THE NUTS! And then do it again for the 200,000 people he murdered!’” Midler wrote at the time.

The “200,000 people he murdered” remark was in reference to the supposed COVID-19 death toll in America. She has yet to address the fact that more people have died from COVID-19 under Biden, in less than a year, according to the Washington Examiner.

Politics aside, it’s sad to see otherwise talented and legendary actors lose their feeble minds over presidents and completely destroy their reputation in the process, but that seems to be the norm these days.
