After dealing a blow to President Joe Biden’s racist “equity” agenda, America First Legal is plotting new ways to resist the White House’s disastrous policies on energy and environmental permitting, according to the Washington Examiner.
Mark Meadows, the former congressman and White House chief of staff under former President Donald Trump, who helps lead the legal firm with Stephen Miller and other former Trump staffers, told the Washington Examiner that they are planning to sue the feds over Biden’s job-killing energy policy.
America First Legal gears up for a fight
Until now, America First Legal has been garnering headlines for its leading role in challenging Biden’s discrimination against white business owners and farmers in his COVID-19 relief plan, as Politico recently reported.
Biden recently reversed a policy that would have excluded many business owners from getting COVID-19 funds on the basis of their skin color after losing several cases brought against them by America First Legal, which is continually looking to expand its horizons, Meadows said.
That includes challenges to Biden’s energy policies on oil and gas permitting, vaccine mandates, and more.
“We also are looking at some of the environmental and energy issues, so we’ve been working with the attorneys general on both Florida and Louisiana on some of the energy issues, as well as Texas public policy and Ken Paxton in Texas,” he added.
Biden recently took a blow on the energy front when a federal judge enjoined him to un-pause new leases on drilling, according to the Washington Examiner.
Law firm pushing back on Biden’s agenda
America First Legal has also been pursuing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests related to Biden’s push for toxic critical race theory, his politicization of the United States military with “woke” struggle sessions, and his abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in all but name.
While Biden is moving at a breakneck pace to transform America, Meadows said he talks to Miller several times a week about what needs to be done to push back. He credited the promising success of America First Legal so far to its leanness, which he said allows it to be “very, very agile” in responding to Biden’s often bewildering efforts to change America, root and branch.
“Every time there is a headline, or lurch to the left, that we’re seeing coming out of the Biden administration, we’re on the phone within hours, looking at how do we make sure that it is fair to all,” Meadows said.
“I don’t know that a week will go by where you don’t see something coming from this partnership that, quite frankly, I’m excited about,” he added.
Indeed, it is encouraging to see American patriots pushing back on Biden’s anti-American agenda. Nice work.
