In the lead-up to the 2020 election and even afterward, it was not uncommon to see news stories about huge vehicle and boat parades for former President Donald Trump. President Joe Biden may have received 80 million votes last November, but those who voted for him don’t appear to be “supporters” compared to Trump’s base of support.
According to the Washington Examiner, support for the former president was once again on full display in his home state of Florida as videos and pictures emerged over the Memorial Day weekend of hundreds of boats taking to the water with Trump-related decorations, including “Trump 2024” flags.
What happened?
It was over the holiday weekend in Jupiter, Florida that thousands of Trump supporters fired up their boats and took to the water in a parade of undeniable support for the 45th president.
According to an official Facebook page, the event was called “The Official Jupiter Memorial Day Patriots Boat Parade,” with a clear call for all Trump supporters to attend, as the page invited “Team Deplorable” and “like-minded patriots” to the boating parade.
Several videos were uploaded to various social media platforms that showed just how much Trump’s supporters truly love the guy, as one would be hard-pressed to find a boat that wasn’t sporting a “Make America Great Again” flag or related pro-Trump slogans.

“Load up your boat and join us,” the page said. “Thousands of Patriots will be joining us on the water and along the shoreline,” adding that the parade’s main focus was to honor the fallen men and women who died for America’s freedom.
Trump responds
Trump, who’s known to acknowledge the love he receives from his large base of support, tipped his hat to the Jupiter boaters over the weekend, telling the pro-Trump group that he “loves them all!”
“Wow! I hear they have thousands and thousands of boats parading in Jupiter, despite the fact that they tried to cancel us,” Trump wrote on his official website. “Everyone is having an incredible time. On this day, we especially appreciate everyone who served and fought for our great Country. I love you all!”
Over 1,300 people “responded” to the Facebook event page, but it was unclear how many attended, though judging by the pictures and videos posted to social media, it was a sizeable crowd.

Trump supporters take every opportunity they can, on their own dime, to show their love and undying support for the former president, which is not something we’ve ever seen coming from those who voted for Biden.
