Jon Voight says ‘there’s so much evidence’ 2020 election was stolen from Trump

Though former President Donald Trump and his legal surrogates spent untold amounts of time and money attempting to convince courts around the country that massive voter fraud took place in the 2020 election, nothing ever really came to fruition.

According to the Washington Examiner, however, if you ask legendary conservative Hollywood actor Jon Voight, he’s convinced that the election was absolutely stolen from the former president, revealing on a recent podcast that not only is there overwhelming evidence to prove it, but that billionaire activist George Soros was behind the alleged scheme.

“So much evidence”

It was during an interview on “The Truth with Lisa Boothe” podcast that Voight — a staunch supporter of Trump’s — doubled down in his insistence that the former president got a raw deal in the 2020 election.

“I mean, there’s so much evidence that it was a stolen election,” he told Boothe. “I take this back to the moment when Soros realized that Trump had been elected by the American people, and he said, ‘This is a disaster.’ And he meant it.”

Voight went on to explain that he believes Soros had a wake-up call after Trump’s surprise victory over failed candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016, which prompted the liberal billionaire to utilize the full power of his vast financial and political resources to prevent Trump from remaining in the White House.

“And it was he and the Democrat leadership and all of the people on the Left who gathered together to stop this man and to make sure that this next election would not repeat itself,” Voight claimed.

While the Hollywood conservative didn’t present any hard evidence to back his theory concerning what he believes happened in the 2020 election, he referenced some of the more controversial moments that took place on Election Day, such as “those several-hour blackouts in the main states,” calling the situation “unbelievable!”

“We’ve lost our moorings”

Sticking to his conservative principles — which is ultra-rare in Tinseltown — Voight warned of “evil” forces overtaking the United States with the goal of spreading “socialism” and “communism.”

“What concerns me the most is that we’ve lost our moorings, and we’re being overtaken by — really it’s an evil that is trying to overtake this country and all the greatness of this country,” he told Boothe.

Boothe also asked Voight about his thoughts on Trump making a third run for the White House in 2024. Voight spun the answer to some degree and wouldn’t directly say yes or no, but he touched on his belief that the GOP bench for 2024 appears to be deep and encouraging.

“I think we have many great people. Actually, we should take heart that we have many great people in the Republican Party who have stepped up, who have gone through this, you know, standing tall. I can name, you know, dozens, and that’s good,” the actor said.

Voight echoed the thoughts of other Republicans in saying that he believes Trump has “enormous influence” over the Republican party, adding that he’s “watching” the former president’s next moves.
