Another member of the U.S. military has come out swinging against Tucker Carlson over recent remarks he made on his self-titled Fox News program.
According to Newsweek, Carlson earned the ire of U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott H. Stalker over comments he made suggesting the military might not have its priorities in order under President Joe Biden.
“Drama TV”
In a video posted to his official Twitter account, Stalker, who is Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) of the U.S. Space Command, suggested Carlson’s views on the subject of the military hold less weight because he “has never served a day in his life.”
“I don’t watch a lot of drama TV,” Stalker said, according to Newsweek. “I understand some comments were made yesterday and I watched the clip that Mr. Carlson produced as he referred to pregnant women in the military. I’ll remind everyone that his opinion, which he has a right to, is based off of actually zero days of service in the armed forces.”
Stalker went on: “Let’s remember that’s all about drama TV.” Take a look:

“A mockery”
Stalker’s remarks came after a monologue Carlson gave during Monday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight. The Fox host was responding to a vow from President Biden to make women “feel safe and respected in our military,” including by “designing body armor that fits women properly; tailoring combat uniforms for women; creating maternity flight suits; updating — updating requirements for their hairstyles.”
“So we’ve got new hairstyles and maternity flight suits,” Carlson said Monday, according to Breitbart. “Pregnant women are going to fight our wars.”
Carlson called the situation “a mockery of the U.S. military.”
“While China’s military becomes more masculine, as it’s assembled the world’s largest navy, our military needs to become more feminine — whatever feminine means anymore, because men and women no longer exist,” he said, as Breitbart reported. “The bottom line is it’s out of control. The Pentagon is going along with it. This is a mockery of the U.S. military and its core mission, which is winning wars.”
“Since when?”
In addition to Stalker, Carlson also faced pushback from the Pentagon’s top spokesperson, John Kirby, who said the U.S. military doesn’t “take personnel advice from a talk show host or the Chinese military.”
But Carlson only doubled down, according to the New York Post, saying in response to the criticism: “Since when does the Pentagon declare war on a domestic news operation?”
