Biden is ushering in an era of state-run media

It appears that the Democrat-run mainstream media will become state-run media under the administration of Joe Biden.

A recent incident has made it clear that Biden is actively working to control the press by suppressing those reporters who try to hold him accountable. 

What’s been going on?

Biden and his White House transition team have been holding press conferences via Zoom for a while now, and a group of reporters has been growing increasingly frustrated with these press conferences.

That’s because, during the question portion of these events, Biden and his team have apparently made a decision to only call upon the same handful of reporters from the New York Times, CNN, the Washington Post, PBS, and Politico. Everyone else has been excluded.

Zoom has a chat feature, and what these excluded reporters have been doing is pleading with Biden to call upon others. According to Fox News, a reporter from the Daily Beast, for example, said that “there are tons of folks looking to ask questions and since this is being done once a week could we PLEASE go longer or at least hold more frequent briefings.”

Fox reports another as asking Biden and his team whether “there is a point in saying we want to ask questions if you only call on the same small group every week?”

The incident

Now, according to Politico’s Sam Stein, Biden has even disabled Zoom’s chat function.

Stein recently tweeted: “The Biden transition team appears to have disabled the public chat function on its transition zoom calls, a place where I and others had been routinely complaining to them to take more questions.”

So now, not only are the excluded reporters not able to ask questions, but they are also not able to complain about not being able to ask questions.

It’s obvious what’s going on here.

It is the same thing that has been going on since the start of Biden’s campaign: Biden is controlling the media in order to avoid negative press. It’s what dictators do.

And, again just like dictators, Biden has controlled the press while at the same time claiming to be all for the press holding him “accountable.” A spokesperson even recently said that Biden “welcomes” that, after Biden was criticized for a lack of transparency.

The American press has rapidly gone from one of our country’s most important institutions to one of our country’s most destructive diseases. If America is to survive, something has to be done about this.
