Throughout the 2020 presidential election, many observers on the right speculated that Democratic nominee Joe Biden would heavily rely on running mate Kamala Harris in the decision-making process if he were successful in defeating President Donald Trump.
Based on recent campaigns by the man Biden has since declared his chief of staff, those suspicions appear to be well-founded, as reported by Breitbart.
“An incredibly insightful and trusted voice”
During an appearance on MSNBC’s The Last Word on Thursday, Ron Klain gushed about Harris’ perceived qualifications.
“She is an incredibly insightful and trusted voice already by President-elect Biden,” he said.
Klain went on to assure progressive viewers that the California senator’s “views are being heard as they discuss policy matters, as they discuss the range of personnel matters,” and that she “is going to be the last person in the room” when important decisions are being made.
“It’s been impressive to see the range of experiences and perspectives she brings to this,” he added.
Klein cited her own 2020 presidential bid — among her other prior roles — as evidence that she is up to the task of making tough calls at the highest level of the federal government.

“I don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone who saw her campaign, who’s seen her as a senator, seen her as attorney general of California,” he insisted.
Klain characterized Harris as being “a very strong voice” and “a very strong force” as Biden continues his attempted transition and will remain so throughout a prospective Biden administration.
“She’s going to be a very influential, very important vice president,” he said.
Following a series of embarrassing and concerning gaffes on Biden’s part throughout the campaign, a growing number of voters began to express concerns about his cognitive function as well as doubt that he would serve out a full term if elected president.
To hear the mainstream media tell it, Biden is on pace to be sworn in — at the age of 78 — on Inauguration Day, which would make him the oldest commander in chief in the nation’s history. A vice president is always just a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land, but Harris’ ambitious agenda and Biden’s perceived deficiencies could make the next four years particularly precarious.
