An ex-business associate of Hunter Biden supported allegations made in emails found on a laptop allegedly dropped off at a computer shop by Hunter that Joe Biden lied about never having knowledge of or involvement in his son’s business dealings.
“I have heard Joe Biden say he has never discussed his dealings with Hunter. That is false. I have firsthand knowledge about this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden,” Bobulinski said in a press conference.
Bobulinski also showed three cell phones that he said contained information about the Bidens’ dealings and said he would be turning them over to the FBI and the Senate.
The Navy veteran came forward to corroborate a bombshell story in the New York Post last week about Hunter Biden’s emails that were found on the laptop left at the computer shop and never picked up.
FBI, Giuliani had hard drive
The computer shop owner discovered the emails and made a copy of the laptops’s hard drive, which he gave to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
The FBI also subpoenaed the hard drive in December 2019 and it’s not clear whether that agency knew what was on the device.
One of the emails in May 2017 suggested a split of a Chinese payoff worth millions, with Hunter Biden (“H”) holding 10% of the cash for “the big guy,” which Bobulinski said is means Joe Biden.
Bobulinski said that one message he has turned over to the authorities said not to mention Joe Biden’s involvement because fellow partners in a venture with China’s largest private energy company SinoHawk Holdings, James Gilliar and Rob Walker, were “paranoid” about keeping his involvement secret, the Post reported.
A falling out between Bobulinski and Hunter Biden occurred when $5 million of a $10 million investment by Chinese state-owned energy company CEFC into SinoHawk was allegedly pocketed by Hunter Biden instead, according to Bobulinski.
“I’ve never been political”
“I have no wish to bury anyone. I’ve never been political. The few contributions I have made have been to Democrats. But what I am is a patriot, and a veteran, to protect my family name, and my business reputation. I need to ensure that the true facts are out there,” he said.
Democrat operatives have accused him of a misinformation campaign to hurt Joe Biden’s candidacy just before the election.
Fox News said there was no overt connection between Joe Biden and any of the companies mentioned by Bobulinski, but the secrecy involved would likely preclude any overt mentions of Biden.
Maybe the FBI will be able to get to the bottom of everything, since they sat down with Bobulinski on Friday to discuss his allegations–or maybe they don’t really care, since they had Hunter Biden’s laptop for almost a year and didn’t do anything with it.
