Far-left Congressman comes to the defense of former Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski

After emails that indicate former Vice President Joe Biden may have participated in his son’s questionable overseas dealings were released, one of Hunter Biden’s former business associates, Tony Bobulinski, came forward to confirm the claims.

Democrats rushed to characterize the bombshell revelations as foreign interference in the election and a partisan smear of Biden, but a surprising character came to Bobulinski’s defense this week: Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA).

Out of line

In their desperation to elect Joe Biden on Tuesday, Democrats have — for the most part — circled the wagons around the Biden family, despite credible claims of corruption and abuse of power, but not Khanna.

Bobulinski told Fox Host Tucker Carlson that despite Joe Biden’s strident denials that he was even aware of Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, he has documents — including emails and text messages — proving that the elder Biden did in fact meet with him on multiple occasions while the two were negotiating a deal.

Bobulinski was immediately attacked by those on the left desperate to oust Trump from office, but Khanna sent the businessman an email on October 30 making it clear that he supports Bobulinski despite the attacks on his character.

Several prominent Democrats have even floated the conspiracy theory that Russia is attempting to interfere with the 2020 election by planting the claims against the Biden family.

Khanna continued in the email: “Tony, hope you are doing okay. I did give an on the record statement to The NY Times that I know you, you have always acted honorably with me, and you and other family members supported me. I have told any media outlets that have asked the same thing.”

“I have refused to comment on the details of your allegations because I don’t have personal knowledge about that, but have said I respect your service to our country and that you have never been a ‘partisan hack’ in our interactions and have talked about putting country over party,” Khanna said.

Not a Russian agent

Bobulinski, despite the media’s claims, is not a Republican and even donated to Khanna’s campaign in 2013 — making the claims against the Biden family even stickier.

“I also have made it clear that I do not think you are a Russian agent,” Khanna declared. “I will continue to make that statement to any media that asks … I remain appreciative for your past support and your requesting your family members to support. After the heat of the election, if you want to, I am happy to chat.”

Fox News reported that an unnamed staffer confirmed that the message had been sent by Khanna.

With only four days until election day, Biden remains mostly silent on the specific allegations brought by Bobulinski, leaving it to his Democrat allies and the mainstream media to suppress and dismiss the reports.
