Here are two more good reasons not to vote for the Biden-Harris ticket.
Recent reports indicate that both Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton could be given roles in a Biden administration.
“Help them govern”
Susan Rice, formerly a national security adviser in the Obama administration, was in the running to be Biden’s vice president. As we now know, she didn’t get that gig. But, that doesn’t mean that we have seen the last of her politically.
In a recent interview on NBC News, Rice seemed to suggest that she will be a part of the Biden administration, that is if it comes to pass.
“I’m glad that I’m going to be able to support them and do my utmost to elect Biden-Harris and help them govern when the time comes,” Rice said.
This led to Rice being asked whether Biden had promised her a role in his administration, to which Rice replied: “I’ll let Joe Biden answer that question, but let me say — I’m proud to serve him in any way he’d like. I’m ready to serve. I’m excited about this.”
“I’m ready”
A similar eagerness to serve in a potential Biden administration was also recently voiced by Hillary Clinton, who, of course, was the Obama administration’s Secretary of State.
On Thursday, at The 19th Represents Summit, Clinton was asked whether she would accept a position in a Biden administration.
“I’m ready to help in any way I can because I think this will be a moment where every American — I don’t care what party you are, I don’t care what age, race, gender, I don’t care — every American should want to fix our country,” Clinton responded. “So if you’re asked to serve, you should certainly consider that.”
Whether Biden would actually ask Clinton to serve in his administration, however, is unclear. Clinton, like Biden, is less popular these days now that the Democratic party has shifted further left.
Obama Administration 2.0
Both Rice and Clinton have publicly endorsed Biden and his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). Clinton, in fact, is scheduled to speak at the DNC convention next week.
If Biden were to be elected and if Rice and Clinton were to be given roles in his administration, it would look a lot like Obama-Biden 2.0. But, it would be far worse, as these figures would be pulled further to the left by the new radical Democrats being represented by Harris. This, to say the very least, would be bad news for America.
