Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro is well known for being an outspoken conservative, yet she recently had some surprising words of gratitude for Democrats.
Pirro began Saturday’s episode of her show, Justice with Judge Jeanine, by thanking “our friends, specifically Democrats Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and the whole unhinged lot of them for guaranteeing the reelection of President Donald John Trump in 2020.”
Trump’s re-election “sealed”
“Their nonstop hate, hypocrisy and hysteria has so exhausted us that we honestly can’t wait to reelect him again,” she continued.
“Their political stunts have been a colossal waste of time and they’ve sealed his re-election,” the Fox firebrand predicted.
“Although technically it hasn’t happened yet, his acquittal in the Senate is a foregone conclusion, delayed yet again, and U.S. senators had to drag this out until next week and couldn’t work through the weekend,” Pirro said.
That comment was likely a reference to the fact that the Senate isn’t expected to vote on whether to acquit or convict the president until Wednesday, despite a decision at the end of last week not to call any additional witnesses at trial.
“Liars and fools”
“Why now?” Pirro further inquired, adding, “I keep asking myself why these Democrats keep making liars and fools of themselves.”
“And Adam Schiff says the president’s misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box because, ‘We cannot be assured the vote will be fairly won,'” Pirro paraphrased.
“Adam,” the former New York state judge demanded, “are you stupid or do you think we are?”
“The Democrat Party, allegedly the party of inclusion and openness, is at this moment in time the most obstructive, mutinous, nonproductive, rebellious group of haters the party has ever seen; can only be attributed to their Trump derangement syndrome,” Pirro railed.
“I want to thank our friends the Democrats, for taking off their masks and exposing their hate, their condescension and their disgust for the rest of us,” Pirro said as she drew the segment to a close.
Polls suggest that Democratic efforts to achieve Trump’s ouster have had little effect when it comes to eroding the president’s support among voters. A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll indicates that Americans remain evenly divided over whether his removal from offices is justified, with opinions having changed very little over the course of the impeachment saga.
