Fox News personality Kat Timpf has had enough of being attacked over her place of work.
In a series of tweets late Monday, Timpf lamented that she’s faced constant harassment because of her employer, Mediate reports.
“Tonight marks the [fourth] incident I’ve had where I was unwelcome somewhere because of where I work,” Timpf wrote. “The people who pretend to be so tolerant and accepting are honestly the biggest bullies I have ever encountered. This is not a talking point, this is my experience.”
“I am so sick of this s**t”
Timpf, whose tweets came just after 11 p.m. ET on Monday, was clear that it wasn’t the establishment that was treating her poorly earlier that night — she said they were “very kind” — but rather, its patrons.
“During this incident, like the others, the person with the issue was unable, when asked, to provide a single example of one of my exact views or actions or statements that he took issue with. Just my affiliation,” Timpf lamented. She went on:
I am so sick of this [s**t] I cannot even tell you anymore. You are not a hero for baselessly being an [a*****e] to people whom you have never met, but also apparently do not even understand a single thing about.
Unfortunately, this is far from the first time Timpf has been targeted. Mediate reported that the Fox personality was allegedly confronted by a screaming woman late last year, and in 2017, a man was said to have dumped a bottle of water on her head.
“I turned around, he saw my face, and then without saying a word he dumped a giant bottle of water on my head,” Timpf told Mediaite. “And I just stood there, and he looked at the bottle and then threw the rest in my face.”
Timpf said she was “shocked” and “upset” by the incident.
It never ends
Sadly, examples of anti-conservative violence and harassment have become more common in recent years. According to reports, journalist Andy Ngo was covering a left-wing demonstration in Portland, Oregon over the summer when he was beaten by Antifa members. The attack resulted in Ngo being hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage, The Hill reported.
“The cuts and bruising on my face have mostly healed,” Ngo told The Hill in July. “The most serious injury to me was my brain in the course of the mob beating, so going forward I will be having various forms of neurophysical therapy and speech therapy to address some of the neurological challenges that I’ll be having.”
Ordinary members of the public have been targeted, too. In New York City, a man claimed he was left with a fractured cheekbone in August after a being jumped while wearing a Trump campaign hat by people he said were yelling, “F**k Trump,” according to Fox News, and attendees at an October Trump rally in Minneapolis reported being assaulted as they left the venue.
When will the intolerance end?
