In the latest episode of Justice with Judge Jeanine, Fox host Jeanine Pirro led a scathing attack on James Comey, seconding President Donald Trump’s May 2017 decision to fire the former FBI director.
“You know what? The president was right to fire you,” Pirro said of Comey on Saturday. “Everything you did while you were at the FBI was for your political and egotistical advantage.”
Pirro’s roast comes roughly a week after the release of an 83-page report from the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General (IG), which alleged that Comey “set a dangerous example” when he failed to safeguard “sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment.”
Still, the Department of Justice opted not to prosecute, according to NBC News.
Judge Jeanine gets heated
Pirro didn’t pull punches on Saturday when it came to her opinion of Comey. The Fox host went through a laundry list of illegal activities performed by Comey while he headed the FBI, from getting Hillary Clinton off the hook for her infamous email scandal to propagating the idea of “Trump-Russia collusion” to even leaking confidential information to the press — which was the focus of the IG’s recent report.
“You took various documents that contained classified information and [were for] ‘official use only,’ and you removed them from the FBI,” Pirro said of Comey. “By doing so, you violated both the FBI rules and policies as well as the terms of your FBI employment agreement.”

Watch out, Comey
From there, Pirro detailed how Comey took seven confidential memos from the safety of the FBI headquarters, gave them to a friend to pass along to the press, and then outright lied about it. Despite this, Comey had the audacity following the release of the IG report to put out a statement asking for apologies from those who “defamed” him.
That really struck a nerve with Pirro.
“Don’t you dare tell us that we are the liars and the leakers, you arrogant, sanctimonious, condescending low-life,” the judge said. “You have been bound to be a liar and a leaker, and just because the Department of Justice is not prosecuting you on this, don’t think for one second that you’re home free, buddy.”
Indeed, Pirro said Comey’s trial isn’t over yet.
“Sure, the Department of Justice may have declined prosecuting you on this,” she said of the former FBI chief, “but make no mistake, Jim, your attempt to frame a president and surveil an American citizen to spy on a presidential campaign for your girlfriend, Hillary, [who] you cut loose and then used a dossier — paid for with her money, money laundered through a law firm — to destroy Donald Trump will lead to you ultimate deserved ruination.”
